This blog will be gathering dust in earnest

Okay, I did it. I made a FFXIV blog. It’s been a long time coming honestly. As I have loved Persona 4 for a full decade and then some, the lack of new games/media since Persona 5 and also the fandom has ran away and left me behind at this point. I visit the Persona 4 content creators every so often, but the takes are no longer aligned to what I’m used to. I can write a whole rant about that, but I won’t.

And while the reason I always have an eye on this blog was because my personal blog (cyber-sleuth) was attached to this blog as a side-blog. And it had been that way since forever ago. But that’s the thing, I realize the past few days: it’s a side-blog. I can attach it to another blog if I so desire.

And so I desire. 

I have been knees-deep into FFXIV the past some 5 years now. It’s my daily thing even. So it’s been a long time coming I should really do the change. 

So my new blog is gonna be… mostly empty, still. I mean, I don’t think people even RP on tumblr in terms of FFXIV but oh well. It is where it is. 

Wanderer-archive is where I’ll be, personal blog has been attached. Feel free to follow, but again, it’s a FFXIV blog. My personal is also free to be followed at cyber-sleuth (formerly known as thewheeloffortune).

It felt like a lifetime of playing as Naoto, and she has left her mark in me, that’s for certain. Consequently, I will miss this blog, if nothing else, has been the place where I met the love of my life. This place hold something to me, and while I’ll be -not here- anymore, I’ll try come on here from time to time.

Thank you for all the wonderful wonderful stories we wrote together everyone. It has been a wild ride for sure.

I have a weird quirk where if I used a song for a prompt in a RP, I will remember that RP whenever I listen to that song.

Years ago, I used the song “Learning to Breathe” for a prompt with @akiyama-san . I have that song on the USB drive for my car. And when I hear it, I always get that urge tingling in my mind to come back here (not that I ever actually left, I’m always here at least once a day. If I’m posting on my personal blog, I’m on this blog).

I just spend a hour and half reading old RP about that version of Naoto and honestly, of all the ways I tortured her, I do very much enjoy that particular version where she’s recovering and lead a normal if sometime relapsing life.

It’s nice to remember at times. I wouldn’t mind getting back to some RPing here again from time to time.
